New Schubert CD Now Available!

Fifteen years after Cuarteto Casals began to grapple with the string
quartets of Franz Schubert, the quartet's first recording of his music
has been commercially released. The album pairs the early quartet in
E-flat major D87, with the great G Major D887 - Schubert's final
quartet, written when the quintessential Viennese composer was only 29
years old. Recorded in Berlin at the acoustically impeccable Teldex
studio, this CD is the ninth disc Cuarteto Casals has released on the
Harmonia Mundi label.
